National Consumers' Day

Every year, 24th of December is observed as Consumer Day in India. It is observed to highlight the importance of the consumer movement and the need to make every consumer more aware of their rights and responsibilities.   Celebrating the day is a chance to demand that the rights of all consumers are respected and protected, and to protest against market abuses and social injustices which undermine those rights.

National Voters'Day

  In order to hearten more juvenile voters to participate in the political procedure,  Government of India has decided to honour January 25 every year as "National Voters' Day" (Hindi: राष्ट्रीय मतदाता दिवस). It has been started from January 26, 2011 to salute Commission's foundation day. The motive of celebrating National Voters’ Day is to make the youth knowledgeable of voting.
